Winston George McFarlane

September 28, 1931 to August 28, 2026


 Winston George McFarlane was born on September 28, 1931, to the late Ezekiel and Martha McFarlane in St. Andrew, Jamaica. Winston along with his siblings attended Halfway Tree school in Kingston. 

 He followed in the steps of his brothers and migrated to the UK with the hopes of making a better life for the family. While in the UK Winston was a bus driver for Birmingham City Council, then chauf eured for Scotland Yard, for The Nigerian Embassy and The Australian Embassy. In addition, he worked as a Security Of icer for the Independent News Paper. 

 He migrated to the US in the late 80’s. He secured employment in New York as a Security Of icer at a prominent Medical Center and concluded his career as a bus driver at a private school. 

 His favorite lifelong pastime was “playing dominoes.” He literally lived and breathed domino. He championed many domino event and was referred to as dropping the “6 Love.” 

 Winston relocated to Texas two and half years ago in the care of his family. While here, Winston was ministered to on several occasions by Nissi Missionary Pastor Godson Bodza. Winston eventually confessed and accepted Christ as his Savior. 

 He passed away peacefully on August 28th, 2026, in Pearland TX. Winston was preceded in death by his parents and all his siblings, brothers Kenneth, Gerald and Arthur, and sisters Isabella, Anita (Puncy), Inez, and Lucille. 

 Winston is survived by his 5 children, Earl, Marlene, Linden, Donna and Paul. 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild, along with a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
