Sharon Louise Rice, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 76.

Born on April 27, 1950, Sharon lived a life centered around the people she loved most—her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished sister. For 57 years, she shared her life and love with her husband, Ricky, who she built a lifetime of memories together.

Sharon will be remembered for her loving heart, her strength, her warmth, and the special place she held in the lives of her family and friends. Her greatest joy was her family, and she took great pride in watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Abbie and Frank, and her beloved son, Ricky Scott. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Ricky, her loving son, Bryan and daughter-in-law Kimberly, her sisters, Marion and brother-in-law Mike and Renee and brother-in-law Randy and her brother, Frank “Skip”; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon leaves behind a lifetime of love, memories, and stories that will continue to be shared for generations to come. Although she will be deeply missed, her love will live on through the family she cherished so dearly.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that the love Sharon gave so freely will remain in their hearts forever.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
