Eden Yoyo

September 20, 2003 to August 09, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eden Yoyo—a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, cousin, and friend—who left this world unexpectedly on August 9, 2026.

Eden was born on September 20, 2003, in Bujumbura, Burundi, to his loving parents, Zainabu Furaha and Sendet Seremba. His life, though tragically cut short, was rich with joy, service, and devotion. After spending his early years surrounded by the vibrant culture and community of his birthplace, Eden moved to the United States, graduating from Paetow High School in 2024. Driven by a strong sense of duty, he enlisted in the U.S. military that same year, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to serving his country.

Eden was known for his adventurous spirit, strong work ethic, and zest for life. Whether working with colleagues where he was a beacon of positivity, cheering on his favorite football teams, fishing, or bike racing, he brought energy and warmth to everything he did. Above all, he cherished spending time outdoors with his nieces and nephews at the park.

Eden is survived by his devoted parents, Zainabu and Sendet, and his cherished siblings: Detty Adouba, Sandra Betoula Kalonji, Wany Lema, Amida Zigashane, Issa Yagi, and Chris Moka.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the Houston Congolese Association, IMPG Church, and the many friends who have offered support, comfort, and strength during this difficult time.

Eden Yoyo will be dearly missed, but his memory lives on in the hearts of all who loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of courage, love, and resilience. May he rest in eternal peace.
