Ralphaell V Wilkins

November 27, 1958 to June 20, 2026


 Ralphaell was born on November 27, 1958, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to Frank and Louise Wilkins. A lifelong believer in the power of education, he attended Abilene Christian University before earning his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston. He went on to fulfill his dream of becoming an attorney by earning his Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. 

 For decades, Ralphaell distinguished himself as one of the region’s most respected criminal defense attorneys and a formidable trial lawyer. Known for his commanding courtroom presence, legal brilliance, and unwavering commitment to justice, he represented numerous highprofile clients and secured landmark victories that brought him recognition in national publications. His dedication to defending the rights of others earned him the admiration of colleagues, clients, and the legal community alike. 

Ralphaell leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his love, wisdom, and legacy: his beloved son, Nnamdi Jarrod Wilkins Agomo; his daughter, Chidere Julia Wilkins Agomo; his treasured grandchildren, Chandler Sade Wilkins, Aiden Nkwachi Wilkins-Agomo, and Nathan Akachi Wilkins Agomo; his sister, Jennifer Scruggs and brother in-law, Michael-Patrick Scruggs; his brother, Wendell Wilkins and in-law Yvette Wilkins; his nephews, Warren Wilkins and Michael- Patrick Scruggs, Jr.; his nieces, Stefanie Chambers and Leslie Mayer. His influence also lives on through countless friends, colleagues, clients, and all who were blessed to know him. The family finds comfort in the promise of Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
