Alfredo Alvarez
February 23, 1970 to March 19, 2026
Alfredo Alvarez, 56. He was born on February 23, 1970, in Caracas, Venezuela. He passed away on March 19, 2026, in Houston, Texas.
Alfredo was raised surrounded by such deep affection, that he grew into a man known for his warmth, kindness, and deeply loving nature. He was a devoted husband, a proud and loving father, and an extraordinary man whose presence brought peace and joy to those around him. To his wife, Cynthia, he was far more than a partner—he was her favorite person, her support system, her life companion and much more. He was also a dedicated father to Alfredo Andrés, in whom his spirit, character, and qualities clearly live on.
Alfredo had a natural passion for technology and a curious, analytical mind. He also found great joy in motorcycles, 4x4 SUV trucks, and camping. He cherished life’s simple but meaningful pleasures: reading, being in nature, enjoying good food and music, a good laugh, and spending meaningful time in the company of those he loved.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and spent many years traveling with his friends from Meru Adventure, exploring off-road trails and discovering beautiful places, creating memories that will live on in the hearts of those who shared those journeys with him.
Alfredo had recently joined Agar Corporation, and, in a short time, he formed meaningful friendships with his colleagues, who stood by his side during his final days —a true reflection of the kind of person he was and the impact he had on others.
He will be remembered for his intelligence, strength, serenity, his sweet and genuine smile, and his sharp sense of humor. His presence brought comfort, his laughter brought light, and his character left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Alfredo is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Miles; his son, Alfredo A. Alvarez; his sisters, Carmen E. Alvarez and Maria M. Alvarez; as well as many extended family members and dear friends, who will miss him tremendously.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Margarita Paga, and his father, Alfredo Alvarez.
Alfredo leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, collaboration, achievements, and cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of his family, friends, coworkers, and all who knew and loved him.
