Arnold Taylor Jr. was born on November 26, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Arnold Taylor Sr. and Rosa Taylor. He passed away on April 7, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. 

Arnold was a proud graduate of Sterling High School, he carried the values of hard work and dedication throughout his life. He was a committed employee of W.J. Dustin, where his strong work ethic and reliability. 

He was a man of many passions and talents. An active bowler for over 50 years, he earned a ring for bowling a perfect game—an achievement he carried with pride. He traveled with the Classic Bowling of America for 20 years and participated in tournaments, sometimes at the national level. He was widely known and respected in the bowling community, forming lasting friendships along the way. He was especially passionate about Hammer bowling balls and remained an avid supporter of the sport throughout his life.

Beyond the lanes, he brought energy and joy to many as a DJ for over 20 years at clubs around Houston, where he was known by his DJ name, AJ. His love for music and entertaining others created unforgettable memories for countless people.

Above all, he was a devoted father, son, brother, and family man. He will be forever cherished by his son, Travis Taylor, and is survived by his brother, Francis Taylor and his father, Arnold Taylor Sr. He also leaves behind four sisters: Ella Johnson, Loretta Taylor, Regina Taylor and Lena Johnson and a brother Bruce Taylor as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

He will be remembered for his kindness, vibrant personality, and the lasting impression he made on everyone who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
