Jane Ada Onyeiji

September 20, 1964 to December 16, 2025


Chief Mrs. Jane Ada Ndem Onyeije was born in Oron, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, to Chief Mba Arunsi and Madam Margaret Mba.

 
Early Life and Education
Chief Mrs. Jane began her formal education at Okon Central School, where she completed her primary education in 1980. She proceeded to Okamu Secondary Commercial School, where she studied from 1981 to 1985. Driven by her passion for ministry and service to God, she later attended the Theological Ministerial College at Trinity College of Ministerial Arts, where she graduated and was duly ordained as an Evangelist.

 
Christian Life and Service
Chief Mrs. Jane Ada Ndem Onyeije was a devoted Christian whose life was rooted in faith and service. While in Nigeria, she and her family worshipped faithfully at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church, Aba East Parish, for many years. During her time at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church, she served diligently as the Secretary of the Women's Guild for several years and was an active choir member. After relocating to the United States in 2013, she continued her unwavering commitment to God by serving as a choir member at the Presbyterian Church, Chapel of Grace, where she remained active until her passing. She was known for her deep faith, humility, and dedication to the work of the Lord.

 
Marriage and Family Life
In 1987, Chief Mrs. Jane Ada Ndem Onyeije was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Royal High Chief Dan Ndem Onyeije. Their marriage was blessed and fulfilled, lasting 37 years and producing six wonderful children-four sons and two daughters. Together, they nurtured and raised their children with love, discipline, and strong moral values, guiding them into successful adulthood. She was also a tender, loving grandmother who adored her grandchildren, and found immense joy in their presence.

Career and Legacy
Chief Mrs. Jane was a successful and respected businesswoman. She owned and operated Unity African Food Store, which she managed with dedication and excellence until her passing. Her life was marked by hard work, integrity, service to others, and unwavering faith. 
She was called to eternal glory on December 16, 2025. Her legacy of love, faith, service, and strength will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her
