March 21, 1949 to November 06, 2025

Sharon Ann Richardson Ogletree was born March 21, 1949, the fourth (4th) of seven (7)
children born to Robert Louis Richardson and Doris Ruby Stukes Richardson.
Sharon was raised in a God centered family environment of love, respectable values and
honor. Sharon accepted God (Christ) at a young age before joining the Nation of Islam
along with her family, as a young college woman. She graduated from Lackawanna Senior
High School and went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from
University of BuƯalo, NY.
Sharon married the love of her life, Robert Fulton Ogletree II in July 1973. They had three (3)
daughters, Davida Lateshe, Katimah Evette* (who precedes Sharon in death) & Xhana
Sharon. Robert (Bobby) & Sharon had 52 years of an infallible marriage together where they
made a commitment of excellence in raising three (3) young women with knowledge and
capabilities of academia, spiritual education/nourishment and the spirit of family and
togetherness. Robert & Sharon then, together, lovingly welcomed and cherish(ed) their
beloved grandchildren: Ariana Zeandra, Kenadee Ann Marie, Kobyn Bobby & Kolyn Jay.
Prior to retirement, Sharon enjoyed a successful career in Case Management within the
Community Outreach industries benefiting senior adults in underserved communities and
the developmentally challenged.
Sharon lived a good life on purpose with the strength, resilience and incomparable faith of
God’s armor and protection. She poured everything good and wonderful into all her
children and grandchildren. She was an avid music aficionada and enjoyed cooking for her
family, as she was an incredibly gifted cook, dancer and matriarch of our nucleus. Sharon
was a grandchildren’s most loving and avid supporter of their education, extracurricular
activities and personal growth.
Sharon is survived by her husband and best friend, Robert (Bobby) (Brother Rob), her two
daughters (Davida & Xhana) and all her beloved grandchildren (Ari, Kenadee, Kobyn &
Kolyn) her siblings (Christopher, Margo, Bobby & Tommy), her sister-in-law/loves, Zemora &
