In loving memory, we honor the life of our dear departed who has left an indelible mark on our lives. Lakeisha Devette Mitchell (Kee Kee) was born on May 11, 1973 in Houston, Tx to Robert Sargent and Clarice Sargent Davis. 
 
She attended Sharpstown High School in Houston, Tx. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Malki Mitchell. She later moved to Shreveport, La with her husband and children. 
 
She loved watching movies on the channel, Turner Classic Movies and she also loved watching the original Law and Order. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends. Her three daughters were her world. She loved to try new cuisines and recipes she saw on television or TikTok and Pinterest. 
 
On November 3, 2025, Lakeisha (Kee Kee) was called home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Sargent, and her stepfather, Luther Davis Jr.
 
She is survived by her three daughters; Cidney Sargent, Kyrie Mitchell, and  Dontrice Mitchell. She is also survived by her husband, Malki Mitchell, stepdaughter Heaven Mitchell, and her stepdaughter’s son Nasir Charles as well as her mother, Clarice Davis, her sister, Demetra Sargent, and nephew, Jacolby Sargent, niece, Jayla Garcia, and her great niece, Chloe Sargent. She is also survived by her Aunts; Joyce McGee, Connie Jones, Sherry Smith, Mary Smith and Uncles; Hilluard Smith, Dornell Smith, Calvin McGee, and a host of cousins, family and friends.
