Larry Leglenn Ward was born on July 9, 1949 in Dallas, TX to the late Claude Walter and Jessie Mae Ward. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Larry was married to Margaret Ward.

Larry leaves to cherish his memories, his loving Mother: Jessie Mae Ward. One son: Larry Ward Jr. Two stepdaughters: Shawana Jones and Cieara Walker. Three grandchildren: Keyana Jones , Jamarion Moy and Caylee Walker. Larry ward also leaves behind three of his closest extended brothers: Joseph Lee Green, Tron “Black” Washington, and Jay Lou. He is also survived by his beloved extended granddaughter: Adriana Johnson, and his cherished great- granddaughter, Islah Johnson.
