Full Name: AMISI KASOMO SUMBLEY
The late Amisi Kasomo Sumbley was born in Kasenga, Uvira, Democratic Republic of
Congo (DRC) on December 6, 1974.
His parents are:
• Father: KIBAYIRA Maurice, from the Bahinga clan
• Mother: APENDEKI Sifa, from the Bahamba clan
Both parents are still living.
Amisi was born into a family of six (6) children, being the firstborn.
Among them, two brothers passed away.
Education
He completed Grade 10 of secondary school in Uvira.
Marriage and Family
On October 31, 1996, Amisi Kasomo was united in marriage in Uvira, Congo, to RIZIKI
Tabatu, who remains his beloved wife.
They were blessed with five (5) children, all of whom are still living.
Faith
Amisi Kasomo Sumbley was a devoted Catholic Christian.
He was baptized on August 1, 1976, at Kavimvira Parish in Uvira, Congo.
Occupation and Daily Life
From his youth, Amisi worked as a barber, a profession he practiced in Uvira (Congo),
Malawi, and later in the United States of America.
In recent years, he also engaged in small business ventures.
He was known as a talented soccer player, friendly, hardworking, and loved by many
people due to his warm and generous spirit.
Conclusion
We thank God for the time and years He allowed Amisi to live among us.
Through his passing, we are reminded to always be prepared, for no one knows the day or
the hour when life will come to an end.
