Nze Ukachukwu Nicholas Onyejiaka

November 19, 2024 to August 15, 1952


Nze Ukachukwu Nicholas Onyejiaka was born in 1952 in Forcados, Delta State, Nigeria but he’s originally from AmaIgbo, Imo State, Nigeria, to the late Mr. John Onyenagubom Onyejiaka and Mrs. Nwaogazi Philomena Onyejiaka nee Uzoma Growing up in AmaIgbo, he began his early education at Saint Gregory Primary School. However, his secondary education was disrupted by the Nigerian Civil War (Biafra War). Despite the challenges of the war, he preserved and completed his secondary education after the conflict. 

In the 1970s, seeking greater opportunities, Nze Ukachukwu Onyejiaka moved to the United States, where he pursued higher education at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). After earning his degree, he built a life and career with dedication and resilience.

In the early 1980s, he married Lolo Chinyere Maureen Onyejiaka, and together they built a strong and loving family, blessed with four sons and one daughter. Throughout his life, he remained a husband, father, and later, a grandfather to fifteen grandchildren.

Nze Ukachukwu Onyejiaka’s life was marked by perseverance, academic excellence, and commitment to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, three sons, one daughter, two daughters in law, one son in law and fifteen grandchildren, who carry on his legacy of strength, integrity, and dedication.
