Izafi Kabura
January 01, 1980 to January 13, 2025
Izafi Kabura, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, servant of God, and friend, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 45. Born in Burundi, Izafi was the seventh of children. She was also a devoted wife to Aron Ntungwanayo, who she tragically lost on December 21, 2014.
Izafi was a woman of extraordinary strength, unwavering faith, and profound love. As the devoted mother of her only child, she gave everything to ensure a bright future. Beyond her role as a mother, she embraced a motherly role for her nieces, nephews, and cousins, nurturing them with the same love and care. Despite facing her own struggles, including illness and exhaustion, she worked tirelessly to provide for her family, ensuring that there was always food on the table, a roof over their heads, and clothes on their backs.
Her faith in God was the foundation of her life. A dedicated servant of the Lord, Izafi was always ready to offer kindness, support, and prayer to those in need. Her heart was full of compassion, and she found strength in her unwavering belief in God’s grace. Even in the toughest of times, she trusted God to give her the strength to carry on for the sake of her loved ones.
Izafi was not just a mother; she was also a best friend, offering unconditional love, guidance, and support to her child, Charlote. Her legacy lives on through Charlote, whose strength and faith are a testament to the love and sacrifices Izafi made. Izafi’s spirit and prayers will continue to guide and inspire us, even in her absence.
As it is written in Revelation 14:13, “Then I heard a voice from heaven say, ‘Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes,’ says the Spirit, ‘they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
Izafi will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, faith, and selflessness will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
