Amber Alise Davis Jones was born in Galveston, Tx on August 8, 1986 to Calvin
and Janice Davis. She grew up as the second child of three, and was always known as the
empathetic and sensitive one among them.
She grew up as a member of Confrontation Church of God in Christ where she
was an active member of the choir and the praise dance team. From a young age, she
had a natural talent for singing, with her performance of “Alabaster Box” by CeCe

cosmetology at San Jacinto College. She found so much joy in contributing in every way
possible to the celebration of the birthdays of those she loved most.
On August 22, 2007, she became a mother to Taylor Camille Davis, who was the
love of her life. She often joked that if Taylor were to ever leave this Earth, she would be
right behind her.

memory in addition to her daughter Taylor include her husband Yehoshua Jones, her
