Gail Wilson

May 26, 1960 to June 16, 2024



Gail Ann Wilson, 64, was born May 26, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio, to Mr. William Cunningham and Ms. Eleanor Shaw.
She was educated in the Dayton Public School System graduating from Fairview High School in 1978.
Gail had an extensive career as a housing authority specialist for over thirty years in Ohio including Dayton Metropolitan Housing Authority (DMHA) and Lucas County Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA).
Gail's heart was filled with love for her family and friends. She cherished her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and a dear friend to many.  In her leisure time, she found joy in reading, listening to music, and taking trips to Las Vegas with her husband Keith. However, her most treasured moments were those spent with her beloved grandchildren, who were always at the forefront of her life.
Gail gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, June 16, 2024.  She will truly be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert McDougald, Richard Shaw, and Darrell Shaw, nephew James Shaw, and grandson Jalen Amari Shaw.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband and true soulmate, Keith Wilson of twenty-seven years; her children, William Shaw (Nicole Hancock), Erirk Shaw (Cricket), Michael Shaw (Jasmine); grandchildren, Jasmyne, Joia, Trenton, Trinity, Jayden, Mikaiylah, Mecca and Jazara; sisters, Ellen Shaw-Starks (Bob), Dale Holbert, Pennie Shaw Reynolds; brothers, William Cunningham and Billy Shaw( Toya); Sisters of the Heart, Ina Thomas, Barbara Windham, and Lisa Sacko; Brother of the Heart, Steven Reynolds; and a host of relatives and friends.
