Audrey Ann Smith was born to Willie Mae Thompson Judge Smith on September 27, 1958, in Carthage, Texas. She was a resident of Houston, Texas.  

Audrey gave her life to Christ at an early age. She became a member of Life Tabernacle with Pastor Jim Kilgore. Audrey departed this life on Friday, August 11th, 2023. 

Audrey worked at The Houston Community College for a number of years. She also attended HCC and too many courses. She graduated with many degrees and honors. Upon passing, Audrey was still employed by HCC.  

Audrey was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Thompson; father, Judge Smith and sister, Renda Smith.

Audrey leaves to cherish her memory, her significant other, Joe Lee Jackson Jr.; one daughter, Nikki of Houston, Texas; two brothers, R.D. Smith of Amarillo, Texas and Larry Marshall; five sisters, Sheila Marshall, Linda Marshall of Dallas, Texas, Kathy Smith and Verna Penrice of Houston, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews and an uncountable number of friends. 

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at Claire Brothers Funeral Home, 7901 Hillcroft Street, Houston, Texas 77081.
